Job Purpose Drive the development of accurate and timely cost estimates and quotations for equipment and tooling investments, supporting strategic decision-making and project success across Production Engineering. Key Accountabilities Lead cost estimation efforts for assigned projects by clarifying scope, interpreting maker layouts, and delivering detailed investment cost reports and quotations. Monitor and analyze cost performance by comparing planned versus actual expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Partner with project teams to drive the development and consolidation of projected spend timelines. Enhance estimation processes and tools to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in producing cost reports and quotations. Maintain and enhance historical cost databases and indexes, incorporating reference materials to support the generation and validation of future cost estimates. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting/finance, engineering technology, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cost estimation or related field. Proficiency in MS Office and other data analysis/presentation tools. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel with experience using lookup and referencing, logic, and text formulas, and pivot tables. Working Conditions Minimal travel ( Occasional visits to observe or support plant operations, requiring being comfortable on plant floor and other production areas.
