Because what we do here is important, but how we do it is everything.THE ESTIMATING TEAMEstimating is an essential part of CEI's sales engine, ensuring that projects are priced properly throughout the bid process. The Estimating group serves a vital role in CEI's PM, teaching estimating skills to future and newly hired project management team members.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Senior Estimator supports the project management -team achieve its goals by delivering high quality estimates on time. -The Senior Estimator is in charge of developing and -completing project specific estimates based on written and/or oral discretion from Project Managers. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct the Estimating team on the timely completion of electrical estimates. This role will provide leadership to team members including Estimators, Estimator Trainees, and others, and lead estimating system training. This position will report directly to the Assistant Chief Estimator.Responsibilities will include:

• Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work.
• May create, maintain and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices) and assemblies.
• Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time.
• Manage quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that pricing incorporates all scope items.ABOUT YOUYou bring over seven years of experience in electrical estimating. Your skillset includes proven verbal and written communication skills, and you have an eye for detail ensuring accuracy in the work that you do. While you may direct and manage the Estimating team in estimate completions, you have the opportunity to provide training and leadership development to your peers and team members.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.Education: High School Diploma or GED required. BA/BS preferred. Licensure/Certifications: None required. Experience: Seven (7) years of experience required of electrical estimating experience in commercial/industrial/high tech industry. 5 years' experience with a design/build contractor. *Applicants must be authorized to -work -in the United States.
