What You'll Do:
Our Louisville Slugger R Team is currently seeking a Test Technician at our Louisville Slugger Innovation Center in Roseville, California. -Louisville Slugger has a 133-year history of being the best in the game and every Composite and Aluminum bat produced for Louisville Slugger is designed right here in Roseville, CA. - As a temporary Test Technician, you are responsible for performing mechanical in-house product testing and reporting results to the engineering team. -Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare samples or specimens for testing.Perform all mechanical in-house product testing for evaluation of durability, performance and quality of both standard production and developmental products. This will include, but is not limited to, usage of the following current equipment:Ball shooting cannons for both Performance and Durability testing and all auxiliary equipment associated with those machinesTensile and Compression testing (MTS, ADC, hand-held, etc.) of product and prepared specimensMOI measuring unit and associated measuring tools (calipers, scales, etc.)Ultrasonic Tester and force hammerDrop testerProvide hands-on fabrication, prototyping, and manufacturing of development samples using various composite materials (carbon fiber, fiberglass, aramids, etc.) and alloys.Read and interpret engineering drawings and/or instructions to perform functions of the job.Maintains documentation of all work, testing, and evaluations performed. Basic maintenance of test equipment.

What We're Looking For :
This role requires a High School Diploma or a GED. - We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or testing environment. -Other qualifications include:Must be mechanically inclined, with a background and experience with operating and working on machinery and/or equipment.Ability to run most common shop equipment, such as:Band / Chop sawsSanders / GrindersDrillsPower ToolsBall shooting cannonsAbility to use and read common shop measuring equipment and distinguish between different bat models / serial #'s.Detail oriented with the ability to understand and closely follow instructions for testing procedures while only proceeding if instructions are clear. Operator should get clarification from direct supervisor if questions arise.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to complete them in the most efficient manner.Ability to multitask and switch between tasks without making mistakes.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), Outlook, Teams, and Smartsheet. -Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is an equal opportunity employer.
