Correctional Officers are an entry level peace officer position.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *

- At least 20 years old at the time of application and 21 YEARS of age at the time of appointment to the academy.

- Graduation from a US high school, GED or equivalent from a US accredited institution, or a California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) certificate is required, or possession of a college degree (Associate of Arts or higher) from an accredited U.S. college or university.

- Be a citizen of the US or legal permanent resident.

- No felony convictions and eligible to own/possess a firearm.

A thorough background investigation must be conducted prior to a candidate's appointment as a Correctional Officer.

*SCHEDULE *

As a CO, you will work multiple different shifts. Our institutions operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $113,000.00 per year
