We are currently recruiting to fill the following position: Job DescriptionPRIDE IndustriesJob DescriptionJob: Master SchedulerJob Code: B69 - PR-Master SchedulerHR Title Group: Distribution and ProductionSalary Grade: E12FLSA Status: ExemptApproval Date: August 2017SUPERVISES: There are no direct reports with this position.POSITION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the Master Scheduler plans and manages production schedules for electronics kitting and assembly. Employees in this job class are responsible for creating production and planning schedules. This job class requires knowledge of standard procedures for production planning and scheduling in an electronics manufacturing environment.TYPICAL DUTIES:1. *Creates master schedules to establish sequence and lead-time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. 2. *Translates orders into a sequential work schedule through kitting, SMT, manual insert, wave, 2nd ops, final assembly, test, and ship-out. 3. *Analyzes production specifications and capacity data, and performs mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools, and human resource requirements. 4. *Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times.5. *Plans sequence of operations. Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. 6. *Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. *7. *Prepares and reviews production reports. Holds regular meetings to confirm alignment between customer needs and planned production.8. *Tracks actual floor times against expected times. Provides regular metrics to measure on-time delivery and floor efficiency.9. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.* Denotes Essential Job FunctionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:--- APICS certificate preferred;--- Three years of experience in electronics manufacturing production and planning;--- Fundamental computer literacy and skills to use business software, and the Internet for data entry and to produce memos, emails and spreadsheets; Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems;--- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from team, customers and others;--- Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English; --- Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team;--- Effective customer service skills;--- Intermediate computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software;--- Basic mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division;--- Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common sense skills.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors in Business Administration or related fieldA comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.CERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED:The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:Not ApplicablePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:--- Utilizing keyboard --- Viewing computer screen --- Bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting and reaching--- May require climbing ladders and/or step stools--- Standing and walking --- Maneuvering in and around the worksiteWORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with forklifts and production equipment.
