Enterprise Architect -- - The Enterprise Architect will bridge the gap between business and technology. You are responsible for defining architecture strategies and leading innovation across the enterprise to align technology with business priorities. As the Enterprise Architect, you are a critical member of a team that guides strategic vision and roadmaps for business and operational support systems (BSS/OSS). The Enterprise Architect will combine a deep understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes and architectural patterns to drive digital transformation initiatives that meet business objectives. As the lead Enterprise Architect, you will influence the technology stack and overall system design to ensure applications are engineered in a highly performant, scalable, resilient, and maintainable fashion using the state-of-the-art development practices. The role will include hands-on work across multiple development teams and applications including prototyping, reviewing code, introducing new design patterns, technologies, and development processes. The role requires someone who is high-energy, driven, collaborative, articulate, proactive, results-oriented, and sensitive to the needs of each unique stakeholder group. This position will report to Chief Information & Technology Officer and will be based out of a home office. Responsibilities Gather requirements, gain business and IT alignment, perform vendor and product evaluations, mentor business and IT resources. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end technical and business viability. Participate in and lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) by collaborating with various stakeholders, business functions and business units on data strategy. Develop enterprise data architecture strategy. Publish standards, guidelines, and best practices around data architectures. Understand the current state architecture and specifically look at it from a BSS/OSS and data standpoint. Recommend future state architecture including integration with external systems. Create roadmap from current state to the future state including integration and conversion/migration of data. Advise leadership on proposed investments/solutions, while assessing and balancing priorities, operational demands, disruptions, cost/benefit, and opportunities. Act as a technology and business process subject matter expert (SME) across multiple disciplines and ecosystems, ranging from Sales systems to Marketing automation, Customer Data Platforms, Finance systems, to centralized Integrations, collaboration tools, and more. Work closely with the CIO, Director of Development, PMO, Compliance, and Director of Business Systems to ensure compliance and security requirements are implemented effectively. Build relationships with business leaders to ensure ongoing alignment as business initiatives emerge and new technologies are considered, proposed, procured, and deployed. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years of overall industry experience with 5+ years in leading enterprise/data architecture. Experience in Salesforce, Pardot, Lightning, and ecosystem of Salesforce products/services. Understanding of digital marketing across Google, Facebook (Meta Platforms), and Salesforce. Experience working on AWS and Azure cloud Experienced in designing cloud solutions in the following technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, SQL Server) and migrating from on-prem to cloud. Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical solutions in an easily understandable communication style. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated solutions to management and other IT development partners. Demonstrated ability to see the "big picture"-- - with proven experience evangelizing, driving enterprise data architecture adoption. Demonstrated ability to building relationships and playing the role of trusted advisor to business, technology and executive partners and stake holders. Familiar with modern and emerging technologies like microservices, API management, web-scale architectures, DevOps engineering, container-based delivery, cloud automation, continuous integration (CI/CD. Experience working on complex enterprise projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains, diverse technologies, and processing environments. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field. -- - Preferred Qualifications Experience with and deep understanding of key business drivers and technical architecture. Excellent knowledge of Salesforce's platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities. Understanding of event driven, reactive, and microservice architectures and best practices for delivering highly resilient solutions. Experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) such as Twilio Segment is a plus. -- - Physical Requirements: Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%) Keyboarding (40-60%) Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (95- 100%) -- - Work Environment:-- - Work is performed in a home-based work environment.
