The Underwriting Auditor will perform comprehensive and timely
loan audits of loans that are underwritten by our outsourced teams.
The Underwriting Auditor will ensure that our loans meet Agency and
Company guidelines. The Underwriting Auditor will help maintain our
Service Level Agreements and work with the teams to resolve QC and
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of FNMA /FHLMC guidelines
- Can perform and validate income and asset calculations
- Validate data fields in our loan operating system
- Maintain and keep current knowledge of all agency guidelines
- Strong timeline management, organizational skills and ability
- Knowledge of Automated Underwriting Systems; DU & LP
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- 3 year of mortgage experience; ideally previous (or current)
underwriting, processing or post-close experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel
- Self-managed and proactive
- Must be able to support Pacific Standard Time business
