Our Midwest Business Development Managers workweek is Monday to Friday with hours starting at 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. This job is a Professional type position that that pays$120K/Hour and is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Midwest Business Development Manager Duties and Responsibilities

- The Business Development Manager will leverage their existing network of engineering contacts at Tier 1 medical device OEMs in the Midwest territory to grow our business in finished device manufacturing, complex braided shafts and laser manufactured subassemblies.

- The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and will work independently. They must be credible in discussions with engineers therefore should have direct experience in catheter development or manufacturing. General medical knowledge of transcatheter procedures preferred.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Actively hunt for new of business opportunities within targeted customer accounts in the Midwest territory. Proactively expand relationships (business and technical) to grow existing accounts.

- Cross sell the company's full range products and services in all accounts.

- Define a territory plan based on customer and market data to grow business within territory.

- Represent the voice of the customer internally and bring forward new service and capability ideas to grow the catheter and component businesses.

- Work collaboratively with internal Technical Sales, Engineering and Customer Service to deliver quotes and excellent customer service through the entire project lifecycle.

- Participate in the companys sales reporting requirements and utilize CRM to analyze and develop sales opportunities

- Responsible for defining, achieving, and refining quarterly territory plans, weekly updates and routine reports.

Midwest Business Development Manager Requirements and Qualifications

- Must have experience as a service provider and a list of contacts in the Medical Manufacturing industry in the Midwest.

- Minimum of 5 years-experience selling complex catheters subassemblies, components and/or finished device manufacturing services to Medical Device OEMs.

- Minimum 5 years-experience in the design and manufacture of complex catheters.

- An engineering degree and technical background is desired. Technical credibility is required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable interacting with staff at all levels within the customer organization.

- An action oriented, proactive, and outgoing personality is required.

- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

- Local travel is required. Automobile and valid drivers licenses required. Position is based on the Minneapolis area; Office Hybrid / Remote.
