Job Description:

The Home Loan Specialist II is a skilled role supporting various Channels within the Mortgage Fulfillment Division (MFD). The individual acts as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. Responsibilities may be limited within a specific function/channel or across functions/channels.Performing complex data and document validationTroubleshooting third part orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)Handling more complex calls, emails or chat sessionsCompleting appraisal eligibility tasksEvaluating loan applications for compliance with product guidelinesEvaluating loan applications for regulatory complianceInteracting with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolutionPerforming other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrating behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and valuesMust be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independentlyProven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environmentExcellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgmentEffective time management skills to deliver work on timeHighly proficient communicator, written and oralDemonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferredGeneral understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations3Associate's Degree
