Job Description Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler - 1st Shift at our Reno, NV facility! The core hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be manadatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $19.82 per hour. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer: /n - Health benefits effective day one of employment. /n - Retirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, etc. /n /n What you'll do: In this function, you will: /n - Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components. /n - May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices. /n - Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams. /n - Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner. /n - Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise. /n - Keeps work areas clean and safe. /n - Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: o Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas. o Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor. o Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility. /n - Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. /n /n Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: /n - No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. /n /n Skills: Position Success Criteria: /n - Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. /n - Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion. /n - Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure. /n /n Physical Demands: /n - Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. /n - Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
