Job Description:

As our Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in providing a productive and rewarding work environment for all Penumbra employees. As the first point of contact for visitors and employees, you will project a caring, helpful demeanor, ensuring that questions and concerns are addressed promptly and accurately. You will provide administrative support to the HR team and to other departments. The job Respond to inquiries, furnish information, direct calls and visitors, providing excellent customer service to all. Maintain employee and applicant files and databases with a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality. Assist hiring team with special events. Assist with onboarding of new employees, answering questions, and ensuring that their initial experience at Penumbra is overwhelmingly positive. Answer basic questions regarding payroll, benefits, time off policies, etc., directing more complex inquiries to the appropriate team member. Get involved in special projects such as fundraising events, wellness initiatives, and training activities. What you bring The desire to work in fast-paced team environment where there's something new to learn every day. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service, helping colleagues find solutions. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. An Associates degree and 2+ administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. HR experience a plus! An organized and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to meet deadlines and set priorities. Proficiency with in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
