Professional position overview and responsibilities: Provide
assistance with activities of daily living - mobility, transfers,
hygiene, dressing and related areas. Provide functional skills
training - assistance / instruction in cooking, shopping, cleaning
Offer cognitive skills training - memory training, reinforcing
speech and language Monitor client activities at the site Maintain
accurate charting/documentation Direct Support Professional
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED , and a minimum age of
18 (as required by the State of Nevada). Read, write, hear,
understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with
clients and colleagues. Maintain a professional demeanor at all
times Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate
effectively with diverse individuals Must be able to pass a
background check as required by the state of Nevada Previous health
care experience a plus but not required A valid Driver's License
