Job Description:
Vituity seeks a dedicated Senior Resident Away Rotations
Coordinator to support our commitment to educational excellence in
the medical field. This role entails the management and oversight
of all aspects of away rotations for residents within Vituity's
diverse care disciplines, including emergency medicine, hospital
medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry. As
an integral member of the Vituity education team, the successful
candidate will cultivate an enriching learning environment that
fosters the professional development of resident doctors, aligning
with our mission to revolutionize healthcare through partnerships
that empower care providers. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of
the planning, execution, and evaluation of away rotations for
residents. Liaise between resident doctors, hosting facilities, and
educational institutions to ensure seamless integration and
fulfilling learning experiences. Monitor and enforce compliance
with both internal policies and external accreditation requirements
relevant to graduate medical education. Develop and maintain strong
partnerships with external educational and healthcare facilities to
enhance opportunities for resident exposure and learning. Handle
logistical aspects of rotations, including accommodations, travel
arrangements, and scheduling. Provide guidance and support to
residents throughout their rotation periods, addressing any
challenges or concerns. Prepare and manage documentation and
records associated with away rotations, ensuring accuracy and
confidentiality. Assess and report on the effectiveness and
outcomes of rotation programs to senior management and suggest
improvements. Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in managing
educational programs within healthcare Ability to multitask and
manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of accreditation
standards and healthcare education requirements Certification by
the Association for Hospital Medical Education (AHME) or similar is
preferred.
