Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a Director of Therapy Operations to oversee the therapy operations across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of care that Encompass Health is known for, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes through effective management and strategic leadership of therapy services. As a Director of Therapy Operations, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, and drive continuous improvements in therapy practice and patient care. Provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of therapy operations across the network of rehabilitation hospitals. Enhance departmental performance through effective resource management, staff development, and implementation of evidence-based practices. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while actively participating in accreditation processes. Collaborate with other department heads to facilitate integrated, comprehensive care plans for patients. Monitor and report on therapy services metrics to senior management, using data to drive decisions and improve patient outcomes. Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources. Champion the adoption of new therapy technologies and practices to continuously improve service quality. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage budgets and large teams In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation therapy operations and management Ability to drive operational excellence and improve patient outcomes Experience with regulatory compliance and accreditation processes Competency in using healthcare information systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid state licensure in Physical or Occupational Therapy is preferred. Certification in healthcare management (e.g., FACHE) is advantageous.
