We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Physician Assistant-Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care center group in Roseville, CA. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fast-moving Urgent Care Center. The incoming provider will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center, as well as telemedicine visits. In addition to offering traditional urgent care services such as illness and injury care, XRAY, and lab services, we also offer preventative, wellness, and primary care services.

Duties:
Office-urgent care visits, telemedicine consults and acute care visits
Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
Performs in-office minor procedures (small laceration repairs, joint splinting, closed reduction of small joints, wound care, I&D, joint-trigger point injections, Admin IM antibiotics-steroids, and local analgesics)
Orders and reviews diagnostic tests, X-rays, labs, and bloodwork (UA, Strep, EKG, Flu, Drugscreen, Urine Pregnancy)
Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
Responds to all patient questions
Assists physicians in addressing urgent patient needs as necessary
Collaboration with the physicians, midlevel providers, and support staff for comprehensive care
Requirements:
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Degree from an Accredited Program (PA-NP)
PA-NP License in CA
Active DEA Registration preferred
Valid ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
Must be able to see-treat patients of all ages
Schedule:
12-hour shifts (9am - 9pm)
Full time
Compensation (range):
$85-$100-hr
