Obstetrics & Gynecology opening in Grass Valley, California. Locums to Perm - Grass Valley, California, OB/GYN Job

• Clinical Role:

  • Setting (Inpatient/Outpatient)- Both
  • Duties- Working OP clinic seeing OB and GYN patients, GYN surgeries at main OR in hospital and/or local outpatient surgery center and deliver babies at hospital.
  • Required Procedures- Routine GYN surgical procedures, Routine vaginal and cesarean deliveries, we don't have a robot
  • Types of Cases- Routine GYN visits and surgeries, and routine prenatal and deliveries; can get midwife home deliveries gone awry
  • Schedule- M-F days + 1:4 hospital call; 2-3 days per week in clinic and 1-2 days per week in surgery; Deliveries while on call
  • PPD- 15-20 in full day of outpatient clinic; fewer if they are in surgery and/or on call for deliveries
  • EMR- Cerner
  • Support Staff- MA, Receptionist, Practice Manager
  • Temp to Perm - REQUIRED
  • Board Certification - Must be board certified in OBGYN (MD or DO). Will consider Board Eligible ONLY if they are within 5 years of having completed their training, and have made at least one attempt at their certification within 1 year of having completed their training
  • Active CA License - REQUIRED
