(Physician/MD qualifications required) Family Practice - Urgent Care Physician Roseville, CA (20 miles N of Sacramento)
We are looking for a Physician to join our urgent care center group in Roseville, CA. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our fast-moving Urgent Care Center. The incoming provider will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center, as well as telemedicine visits. In addition to offering traditional urgent care services such as illness and injury care, XRAY, and lab services, we also offer preventative, wellness, and primary care services.

Duties:
Office-urgent care visits, telemedicine consults and acute care visits
Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
Performs in-office minor procedures (small laceration repairs, joint splinting, closed reduction of small joints, wound care, I&D, joint-trigger point injections, Admin IM antibiotics-steroids, and local analgesics)
Orders and reviews diagnostic tests, X-rays, labs, and bloodwork (UA, Strep, EKG, Flu, Drugscreen, Urine Pregnancy)
Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
Responds to all patient questions
Supervise other medical providers (NPs-PAs)
Collaboration with the other physicians, midlevel providers, and support staff for comprehensive care
Requirements:
MD or DO -Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Must be comfortable-able to see patients 2 weeks and up
Active Medical License in CA
Active DEA Registration preferred
Valid ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
Schedule:
12-hour shifts (9am - 9pm)
Full time
Compensation (range):
$125-$150-hr
