Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRidgeline Pediatric Day Health and Respite Services is searching for a qualified, loving LVN. We are looking for the right LVN to add to our small caring team. If you love children and adults, and want to help those with special health care needs then this is the place for you! The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides skilled nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.Ridgeline Pediatric Day Health and Respite Services is a specialized care facility for medically fragile children ages 0-22. With the addition of our Transitional Care Unit, clients may remain at Ridgeline for skilled nursing care until the program is no longer appropriate. Ridgeline was established in 2005 in Grass Valley, CA and in 2014 in Yuba City, CA.Responsibilities

• 1 year direct pediatric client care experience preferred;
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, walk and reach as needed to perform client care and/or transfer of client up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to administer medications to a variety of clients.
• Knowledge of diabetes management and seizure precautions preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, clients, physicians, school teachers and general public;
• Current CPR certificate;
• A valid California Driver's license when travel is required;
• Evidence of automobile insurance when travel is required.Qualifications
• Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure;
• At least 2 verifiable references
