Position Overview:Sutter Medical Foundation (SMF) is a not-for-profit organization supporting the quality medical services provided by - -and - -and a clinically integrated network (Sutter Physicians Alliance, also known as SPA), which includes -.Serving the counties of Amador, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba, physicians are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and services, listening to patients' needs and ensuring that patients play an important role in their health care.SMF is also committed to delivering quality and convenient care to patients through numerous outpatient services including ambulatory surgery centers, -, -, home health, - -and -.The SMF -Interventional Radiology (IR) Imaging Operations Manager provides overall management and operational support for the actvities and resources of Interventional Radiology for Sutter Medical Foundation Imaging Services -in two area outpatient clinics (Sacramento and Roseville). - The Operations Manager provides leadership in planning, organizing, budgeting, staffing and controlling the operational functions related to -IR Services. -The Operations Manager ensures optimal provision and coordination of imaging services and resources for Sutter Medical Foundation. - The Operations Manager ensures high quality, responsive service level performance and implements various productivity improvements and cost savings components to operations, standardizing processes where appropriate. - The Operations Manager ensures coordinated and harmonious working relationships within -IR Services, with SMF Leadership, with the Diagnostic Imaging & SMG IR Medical Director(s), SMF Site and other Operational Managers within the DI Service Line, with associated medical staff and the public. - In collaboration with the DI Regional Operations Director and Medical Group Leadership, the incumbent manages the development and implementation of new profitable lines of business aligned with the DI Service Line and Sutter Medical Foundation.Qualifications:Education: - - - - - - - - - -Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in one or more imaging modalities preferred. -Masters degree in healthcare management or equivalent education/experience in a closely related field is desirable. -Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program with certification by both the American Registry of Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technologists and the State of California is required. -Experience: - - - - - - - - - - -Prior demonstrated successful experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Services Operations Manager of an outpatient setting is preferred. Demonstrated ability in healthcare management with excellent experience in personnel management; budget preparations and planning; marketing, development and monitoring of staff productivity systems; quality improvement and establishment of quality standards and monitors; and development of other key management control systems is essential. - Both a strong clinical background and strong experience in working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Directors and referring physicians is critical. - Demonstrated success in major project coordination, implementation of successful cost containment initiatives, and contract negotiation is required. - Experience in managing imaging services supporting multiple sites is strongly preferred. - Experience in managing personnel, operational processes and Information Systems in a multi-site environment is highly desirable. -Knowledge: - - - - - - - -Extensive knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging operations in a non-acute setting is essential. - Establishing work processes, quality and productivity standards, and policies and procedures designed to ensure optimal departmental performance is required. - A comprehensive knowledge of all applicable JCAHO, Title 22/State, IMQ, federal, state licensing and other local regulations as they relate to Diagnostic Imaging Services is required. - Knowledge of technological advancements, labor savings procedures and equipment, sophisticated diagnostic imaging equipment for all services, Radiology Information Systems, and other state-of-the art departmental-specific systems is required.Organization:Sutter Medical Foundation - NorthEmployee Status: RegularBenefits: YesPosition Status: ExemptUnion: NoJob Shift: DayShift Hours:8 Hour ShiftDays of the Week Scheduled:Monday-FridayWeekend Requirements: NoneSchedule: Full TimeHrs Per 2wk Pay Period:80Applications Accepted:All Applications AcceptedSchedule/Shift: Full Time/ Day
