Overview:Sutter Health is one of the nation's leading

population.Sutter Roseville Medical Center offers acute care for

full array of services and programs designed to serve the growing
community, and a level II American College of Surgeons-verified
Trauma Center serving a seven-county region. In Roseville, we
provide integrated healthcare services through the growing Sutter
Roseville Medical Center, Sutter Medical Foundation and Sutter
Rehabilitation Institute. Specialized services included Sutter
Cancer Center, Roseville, the Family Birth Center, and the Trauma

growing community continues today. since opening Sutter Roseville
in 1997 we have made significant additions to the medical center
that include the Breast Health Center and Bariatric (Weight Loss)
Surgery, new technology, state of the art equipment, and top of the

area.Provides administrative and nursing leadership to a team of
multi-disciplinary leaders managing the delivery of patient care,
or to a significant sized nursing team that operates across
multiple campuses/affiliates. Participates in system-sponsored
nursing and other relevant initiatives, establishing goals and
standards to support patient care initiatives and to ensure the
delivery of high-value quality care and achievement of common
objectives. Develops and fosters a solid partnership with
physicians, medical staff and Sutter Health leaders, and employees
to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve
operational challenges and/or to improve processes. Works with
senior leadership to develop and establish short- and long-term
strategic plans that complement system, operating unit or affiliate
goals and initiatives, including business, operations, and/or
organizational priorities. Sets priorities to align with business
objectives and annual plan. Establishes the direction of policies
and procedures, and sets a structure for providing safe, consistent
and effective patient care. Establishes overall operating and
capital budget with input from management team, ensuring financial
targets are achieved and variances are addressed timely. Where this
job exists at a large affiliate, as defined as: CPMC, ABSMC, SMCS
and OU roles, and reports to an Executive-Path leader, and is a
member of the Administrative Team, the title will be Executive.Job
Description:EDUCATION
- Bachelor's: Degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related
field. or equivalent education/experienceCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare ProviderEXPERIENCE
- 15 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an
acute care setting with demonstrated success in clinical and
operational performance.
- 15 years of experience utilizing effective interpersonal
communication, supervisorial, organizational, and priority-setting
skills.
- 15 years of experience in demonstrated ability to plan,
organize, and implement clinical and non-clinical focused programs
in a healthcare setting.
- 15 years of experience of budgeting and fiscal management.
- 15 years of experience working with physicians and medical
staff leadership, preferably in a large healthcare
environment.
- 15 years of understanding and experience with Lean or other
process improvement philosophies and methodologiesSKILLS AND
KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrates clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively
plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable
standards and regulations.
- Understanding of clinical operations and workflows, and how
operational process/workflow impacts other department
operations.
- Working knowledge and thorough understanding of health care
laws, licensing and accreditation requirements, and clinical
standards of practice with the ability to interpret and implement
applicable requirements to ensure operational compliance.
- Knowledge of emerging treads and regulatory changes, and how it
impacts operations.

standards to meet long and short- term objectives and make sound

role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by
location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific
geographic differential applicable by area where the position may
be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors
including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education,
skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training
and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total
rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also
