Requirement: Applicant must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now and in the future.This is a hybrid remote position.KAI Partners is recruiting a seasoned, motivated, client-focused Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience. This Project Manager will support the PMO with a balanced approach to both the business and project management requirements of the organization. This includes the business processes, systems, reporting and analytical needs of the organization enabling operational efficiency. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter and problem solver who thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project.We are seeking two candidates for this role(s):A candidate with experience in higher educationA candidate with experience in healthcare Responsibilities:Reviewing and reporting on the consistency of system development using work plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, staffing plans, and resource utilizationApplying extensive Project Management (PM) principles, methods, techniques, and toolsProducing related status reports and metrics using client approved Project Management Office tools and proceduresParticipating in project status and planning meetingsBuilding and maintaining project schedules, integrating with related schedules, and other program management activitiesMonitoring vendor development and vendor testing for project and workgroup statusMonitoring client resource allocation and utilization to make recommendations for pre-emptive and corrective actionsMonitoring, evaluating, coaching, and participating in issue and risk management activities including risk identification, mitigation, resolution, and contingency planningIdentifying needs that clients may not recognize, and ensuing approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needsContinuously managing client expectations, ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, while soliciting and acting on client feedbackPreparing and presenting written materials and oral findings, as neededSummarizing activities in a written monthly status reportProvide schedule updates to client staff for budget and planning documentsExercise a high level of expertise with Microsoft SharePoint and other project management tools utilized by the clientUnderstand, consider, and clearly communicate enterprise trade-offs on decisions, framing decisions as clear, simple business choicesEffectively lead highly diverse and cross-functional teamsEffectively build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholdersManage all phases of the assigned projectRequirements:At least five (5) years of experience applying extensive Project Management (PM) principles, methods, techniques and tools.Three (3) years of that experience must have been as a Senior PM of one of the larger complex IT project(s).Three (3) years of experience in providing PMO support services in a Government Agency.PMP Certification from PMIBA/BS degreeAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting when priorities changeExcellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor alwaysPro-active self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teamsExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsPatience and dedication when working with clients, vendors, and internal teamsStrong analytical, critical, and creative problem-solving skillsPrevious experience with state government, higher education, health care, large IT solution implementations, program governance, and project portfolio management experience KAI PartnersKAI Partners is a growing technology and organizational development consulting services firm based in northern California.
