The Regional HR Manager serves as a Human Resources liaison for the
Northern California region and helps guide management regarding
employee relations, personnel development, performance management,
and labor law compliance. This position requires a dynamic
individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a
demanding, fast-paced environment.
Coordinates with Corporate Human Resources Director and the Human
Resources Department to execute organization-wide strategies and
Advises the Corporate Human Resources team on all regional
personnel issues and updates.
Supports supervisors in the region regarding the care, development,
performance, motivation, and contribution of the workforce.
Oversees the hiring, onboarding, review, and employment termination
processes; ensures that protocols are effectively conducted.
Coordinates the company's benefits administration processes for
regional staff; including enrollments, amendments, and
Provides guidance to supervisors to complete timely evaluations,
implements effective coaching methods, and identifies areas for
performance improvement; attends employee review and corrective
action meetings as necessary.
Working with the Training and Development team, identifies employee
training needs, provides relevant and effective training paths that
meet the identified goals.
Responds to employee relations issues, such as employee complaints
and concerns. Develops corrective active plans with Corporate Human
---Resources Director and implements lasting solutions.
Supports the corporate Talent Acquisition team in regional
recruiting initiatives. Assists with new position posts, candidate
tracking, and interview coordination.
Documents and retains internal processes such as position
transfers, promotions, and performance improvement plans.
Working with the corporate Human Resources team, creates and
implements employee engagement agendas, such as wellness programs
and employee surveys.
Provides support to employees in various Human Resources protocols
such as leaves of absence and workers' compensation leaves.
Gathers and distributes Human Resources-related data for metric
application to disseminate to the Corporate Human Resources
Human Resources Management Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite; HRIS
systems a plus
Required Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or
equivalent work experience
7-10 years of experience in HR. At least 3 years of experience in
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite/office database
systems; HRIS systems a plus
Understanding of general Human Resources policies and procedures;
CA, AZ, and federal labor law
