ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPosition SpecificOversees the design, implementation, monitoring, modification, and evaluation of the program. Ensures the program complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.Writes proposals, negotiates, and secures contracts with various county, state, and federal agencies, including, County Children's Mental Health, and Child Protective Services.Coordinates administrative and financial matters with referring agencies; markets programs, including personal contacts with referral representatives; and serve as agency representative through attendance at and participation in community teams, workgroups, and professional organizations.Serves as an organization and program representative through attendance at and participation in internal and external meetings and promotional events, county meetings, community meetings, workgroups, and professional organizations as assignedFacilitates team meetings, trainings, and workgroups as assignedParticipates and represents the program in leadership meetings, committees and workgroupsAssists in training and orienting new staff and managers in all aspects of their workHires and supervises staff; and takes disciplinary action, including termination, as requiredSupervises direct care staff when neededReviews and approves documentation of services as neededPlays a key role in program development and implementation, including evidence based practicesUpdates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and national accreditationDirectly contributes to the completion of internal and external reports, Requests For Proposals, and other documents as assignedSupports the process for all internal and external audits, and is the primary point of contact within the programSupports the COA recertification processesReviews contracts and provides support in the budgeting process and contract negotiationsAgency SpecificPerforms all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency, while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics, the agency's policies and procedures, contractor requirements, and regulatory requirements.Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agency's Mission, Vision, and ValuesWork collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as neededUtilize and maintain calendar with all work-related details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkersParticipate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skillsPerform other duties as necessary for the agency, as assignedStarting Salary Range: $ 93,000 - $107,100 DOEEducationPreferredMasters or better in Human Services or related fieldLicenses & CertificationsPreferredLicensed MFTSkillsPreferredWritten and verbal communicationWork mobile, fast paced environmentWork IndependentlyTime managementMulti-taskerFlexibility in scheduleCollaborativeCase managementAttention to detailAdhere to all confidentiality requirementsAbility to use laptop computer
