Position Overview: The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of heavy civil construction projects, specifically focusing on water, sewer, and water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee project planning and execution for heavy civil construction projects. Coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment. Prepare and review project documentation, including plans, specifications, and schedules. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects. Provide technical support and expertise in water, sewer, and water treatment projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering within the heavy civil construction sector. Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and water treatment systems and utilities. Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
