Job Description Job Description Job Description: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts 25 lbs w/ assistance. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production. Role involves reorganizing the stockroom and supporting multiple businesses. Qualifications : Warehouse / Material Handling Experience: At least 1 year experience in inventory handling, stockroom organization, or material movement. Any industry background is acceptable (manufacturing, retail, etc.). Comfortable with physical activity and transactional work in ERP. Physical capability: moving inventory parts, climbing ladders. Good teamwork and willingness to assist with heavier tasks. Strong English reading and comprehension. Ability to follow instructions and stay organized in a busy environment. ERP experience: SAP preferred (especially stockroom transactions). Excel proficiency: Basic spreadsheet handling. Math competency: Ability to add/subtract accurately for inventory counts. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM (possible overtime) Benefits: Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
