A Roseville-based Civil Engineering firm is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 6+ years of professional design experience in the fields of Land Development, Commercial and Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with an emphasis on multi-family residential, single family residential, commercial, and mixed-use design. Applicant should have a solid understanding of current local, state, and federal development guidelines. Applicant should possess strong design and construction experience in all aspects of land development including but not limited to: storm water management facilities, utility design, sediment and erosion control, roadway design, grading and earthwork calculations, and floodplain/floodway modeling.The successful candidate should also be able to perform duties of a Lead Design Engineer. This includes an ability to develop site civil construction drawings with minimal oversight and provide assistance to technical staff and other Civil Engineers regarding reports, spreadsheets and all associated calculations. Candidates should have a proven ability to meet project submittal and approval timelines, and an ability to deliver final construction drawings on a predefined project budget. Applicants must have strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate well with staff, agencies and clients.This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with PE License. Candidate shall be able to manage multiple projects, coordinate / manage staff, coordinate with clients, and assistance with contracts, proposals and change orders. Candidate should be proficient in the following engineering software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, and Microsoft Office (is a plus).ABOUT:Our firm provides services in Civil Engineering, Land Planning, and Surveying.
