Job Description Job Description The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment. Duties : Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems following all state and federal regulations. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. Respond promptly to requested thermostat adjustments and the needs of company. Assist outside contractors on maintenance and larger installation projects. Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and immediately report unsafe conditions and exposure to management. Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma, G.E.D, or trade school equivalent required. Three or more years’ experience in air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration. EPA 608 certification required. Organized, flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure. Able to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
