Medical Billing Clerk

The Medical Billing Clerk is responsible for all third party payers, managed care, workers compensation, and other payers for billing functions. This position is Temp-to- Hire with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will be expected to exhibit professional behavior as well as adhere to all department processes and policies.

Qualifications for Medical Billing Clerk:

1-2 Years of experience working in a hospital setting or physician billing setting

Business knowledge and results oriented experience within the Patient Financial Services arena

Education required is High School Diploma. Associate degree preferred

Qualified candidates will be required to pass a drug screen

Desired Qualities for Medical Billing Clerk:

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Experience working with MS Office Suite and billing software

Keen eye for details

Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
