Job Description:

A well established CPA firm located in Roseville, California is seeking a full time Staff Accountant to help with our busy tax practice. This position will be supporting partners, managers, supervisors and other staff members by performing a variety of tasks.
The primary roles for the Staff Accountant include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Prepare individual and business income tax returns
• Reconcile accounts and record journal entries as needed
• Prepare payroll, sales & use and other return types as required
• Monthly bookkeeping for business clients
• Respond to tax notices
  The successful candidate will exhibit a willingness to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities, and ability to work under pressure. In addition, the individual will be able to balance the required work with the budgets provided on each engagement.
  Position will be full time, and will start June 6th, 2022.
  Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field, with expectation of completing CPA requirementsExperience with tax return preparation and QuickBooks preferred, but not requiredProficient in MS Word/ExcelFriendly while maintaining a professional demeanor at all timesStrong verbal and written communication skills
